Join us online on Wednesday 16 December from 5 - 7.30pm as we celebrate the wonderful music making that has been taking in schools across the county this term.

Invitation to Worcestershire schools

All Worcestershire schools are invited to take part in our online Winter Music Festival by sending in video recordings of the performances to be included in the Festival programme by no later than 12 noon on Monday 7 December

Performances by a whole class, small groups and individuals are all welcome. 

Taking part – what we need from you 
  • Video(s) of your performance(s). Please keep each video to a maximum of 4 minutes.  
  • The title of your performance and a short message to describe the performance and performers. Wwill use your description/message when we post your video on social media e.g. <insert name/class/year group of performers> from <insert name of school> performing <insert name of piece>Music teacher <insert name> said: “The children have all thoroughly enjoyed their music lessons this term and it’s wonderful to see how much they have all improved. 
  • The names of your social media accounts. We will tag you in posts about the Festival generally and your performances so that you can help us spread the word amongst your community. 

Unfortunately, MP3, WAV or PCM files can't be uploaded to YouTube.  

Please email your videos to [email protected]If your video is too big to email you can also send it to us via We Transfer or Google docs. 

What we will do with video(s) 

By sending us your video you are agreeing to Severn Arts sharing your video(s) on Severn Arts YouTube channel, website and social media. Please ensure that you have all the permissions in place for us to be able to do this. 

We will upload the videos we receive to our YouTube channel and show them through our Facebook and Twitter accounts as part of our Winter Music Festival on Wednesday 16 December 2020.
