Worcestershire County Council and Severn Arts are inviting Worcestershire artists and arts organisations to apply for a new grant launched this week.

Recognising that this is a particularly difficult time for Worcestershire’s freelance artists and small arts and cultural organisations Worcestershire County Council and Severn Arts are inviting applications for a grant of £300 per artist/organisation to create a piece of work that can be shared and enjoyed digitally.  The work can be in any art form, must be a new idea and focus on the theme #CreativeConnections.

Anyone wishing to apply for a grant just needs to email Elaine Knight (Arts Director, Severn Arts) [email protected] with an outline of your idea and how you would share it digitally. Please include #CreativeConnections in your subject line.

The idea behind this new grant funding is that together we will create a body of work that can be shared and enjoyed digitally during this difficult and challenging time and help to maintain the profile of the arts in the county.

The deadline for submissions is 9.00am on Monday 6 April. We would like to see projects delivered by the end of May.

Please note this funding is only open to artists and organisations that live and work in Worcestershire.
