The opportunity

Severn Arts, in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, seeks to commission five Worcestershire-based visual artists / designers who live, work or learn in Worcestershire to each produce a new and original large-scale design for public display, celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 in a creative and innovative way. On completion, Severn Arts will print these designs on large outdoor banners (approximately 3m x 1.5m) available to display at Jubilee events across Worcestershire throughout the year, including community celebrations, street parties and events hosted by arts and cultural organisations. All work will be credited.

In order to be considered for this commission, you must be able to produce finished designs and send these as digital files to Severn Arts by Sunday 23 January 2022. (Please also note the earlier application deadline below.)

Commission fee

The fee is £250 per design.

We encourage submissions from those who are underrepresented; including, but not limited to, disabled artists and people from Black, Asian and ethnically diverse backgrounds.
