  1. What’s on

Festivals

Brand new festivals, delivered by Severn Arts, are taking place in Worcester, showcasing national and international creative talent and supporting local emerging work.

The first of the festivals, Light Night Worcester, took place across the city centre on the evening of Thursday 16 January 2020.

In October 2020 In Memoriam, an art installation by Luke Jerram came to Worcester as part of an international tour.

As well as bringing this wonderful art installation to Worcester, our plan was also to stage some special performances within the memorial that visitors would just happen upon. Whilst this wasn't possible to do in quite the same way we imagined the performances did still take place and have been beautifully captured on film.

What's next?

There are more festivals to come, each with the same high-quality work and opportunities but completely different from each other. There will be something for everyone! Find out more on the Festivals website.

The festivals programme is part of The Arches - Worcester project. Severn Arts is a principle partner in this project and is the lead organisation for the Festivals.

The Arches-Worcester project is supported by the Department of Culture Media and Sports’ Cultural Development Fund, administered by Arts Council England.
