Meetings and networking

Worcestershire arts and cultural sector

Severn Arts organises professional training, meetings and networking opportunities for the creative and cultural sector. Whilst we are required to social distance we have set up the following online meetings.

Arts Get Together

An open platform for the Worcestershire arts and cultural sector to come together for support, to discuss concerns and to share information relevant to the sector during the current pandemic. Attendees will also be able to participate in wider conversations on sector recovery.

Next meeting: t.b.c.

Arts and Health subgroup meeting

A forum to discuss issues around arts and health. It also provides a platform to share information and facilitate specialist support within the arts and health provision focusing on support for specific vulnerable groups during the current pandemic and in the recovery phase.

Next meeting: Wednesday 20 January, 10 - 11.15am

Creating New Work subgroup meeting

A forum to discuss, share and support new work and a platform where artists can inform a recovery plan for the cultural sector.

Next meeting: t.b.c.

Working with Schools subgroup meeting

A group to enable the arts and education sectors to work together and support each other during Covid-19. It provides a forum where conversations between artists and teachers can develop to best support each other going forward.

Next meeting: Thursday 21 January, 4 - 5pm

If you would like to attend any of these meetings please contact Monika [email protected] so that we can add you to our meeting invite list and mailing list.
