Severn Arts is seeking to appoint a Clerk to the Board of Trustees. If you are interested in this role please apply by 14 March 2021 as requested below by.   

About the role 
  • Minute meetings of the Board and sub-committees
  • Distribute papers
  • Act as a reference point for Trustees and keep records in Dropbox folders
  • Liaise with Trustees, for example about dates and attendance
  • Where possible the minute taking will be in face-to-face meetings. All other duties can be carried out remotely

The hourly rate for this role is £10.

About the Board  

The Board governs the work of Severn Arts; a successful independent charitable arts company that delivers high quality music and arts engagement to a wide range of people across Worcestershire. Board members debate and advise on strategy, business planning, financial matters and sometimes operational matters. 

  • The Board meets up to six times a year 
  • Meetings are for approximately 2.5 hours
  • The Board’s three subcommittees; Finance, HR and Equality and Inclusion meet every quarter
