Students from the University of Worcester and Heart of Worcester College partnered with artist Rob Draper at The Art House to develop work for the Creative Choices Exhibition – a series of collage artworks exploring the theme of 'Place' as part of the Local Voices Creative Choices programme.

Led by Rob’s inspirational career journey, and an artistic approach that embraces experimentation and embracing imperfection, students explored mixed media collage to express their individual connection to Worcester. The workshops built confidence and creative experimentation, with creative students valuing the freedom to try new approaches. A public exhibition of the artwork was on display at the Art House, Worcester from 16–27 April 2026, following a VIP exhibition launch event on 15 April 2026.

This Live Brief project is part of the Skills & Talent strand of the Local Voices Creative Choices programme, which aims to embed the Heart of Worcester College and University of Worcester in Worcester’s cultural and creative community, and encourage students to consider future careers in the city’s growing creative sector.
