Severn Arts is the hub lead organisation for Herefordshire and Worcestershire’s Music Hub, offering music opportunities for all children and young people across the two counties. Our work supports schools and teachers to deliver the National Plan for Music Education.

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Music Hub is funded by the Department for Education, administered by   Arts Council England. 

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Music Hub Oversight Panel

The purpose of the oversight panel is to guide, challenge and support the the Hub to ensure accountability for the provision of high-quality music education for children and young people.

The Hub Oversight Panel is chaired by Julie Sutton. Julie is a Senior Lecturer in Education and the Primary Lead for School Based provision at the University of Worcester.

Lead Schools champion music education and strengthen connections between schools and academy trusts. We selected our Lead Schools based on their excellent commitment to music within their classrooms.
