Arts Our current projects Reimagine Redditch The Reimagine Redditch Programme delivers inspiring and bold creative projects with communities, co-creating new work with Redditch residents, especially those people who do not regularly take part in the arts. The Programme offers excellent creative and cultural experiences for everybody in Redditch, working with local people from across the borough to help decide what that looks like and how it’s delivered. The team do a lot of listening and meet lots of great local people who tell them what’s most important and what matters to them, matters to us. Arts, culture and creativity make the places we live vibrant, exciting and inspiring, benefiting our wellbeing and helping to boost local economies. Reimagine Redditch is a Creative People and Places project, which is funded by Arts Council England. Creative People and Places focuses on parts of the country where involvement in arts and culture is significantly below the national average. It provides National Lottery funding to groups of local organisations, or consortia, who work together to bring creative opportunities to the lives of people who live in that place. What makes Creative People and Places unique is that the arts activity driven by these groups is designed by, for and with people from the community. Reimagine Redditch is one of 46 projects initiated by Arts Council England’s national Creative People and Places (CPP) programme. As with all CPP programmes, Reimagine Redditch is governed by a Consortium of organisations with Severn Arts as the host organisation. The other core Consortium members are Arts in Redditch, Redditch Borough Council and Bromsgrove and Redditch Network (BARN).
