Banners have been created by local artists to display at Queen’s Platinum Jubilee events here in Worcestershire.

Severn Arts commissioned five visual artists/designers to each produce an original banner design marking the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year with sponsorship from Worcestershire County Council.

The striking, large-scale designs have been printed onto 3 metre by 1.25m eco-friendly framed outdoor banners and are now available for public display across Worcestershire for community Jubilee celebrations, street parties and events.

Elaine Knight, Arts Director, Severn Arts said: “It’s great to be able to provide another opportunity for local artists to showcase their work. It’s really interesting to see the artists response to our brief as their designs are all so different and will provide wonderful backdrops for anyone putting on a Jubilee celebratory event.”

The banners are completely free to hire and will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Anyone interested in hiring one or more of the Jubilee banners, should complete and submit a banner application form.
