Absences

Please check eligibility for each event prior to signing up.

String Workshop with Simon Jones - Saturday 19 October 1:30-4:30

This workshop is open to string players (violin, viola, cello, double bass) of Grade 3 + standard. Free to take part.

The workshop will be led by Simon Jones and will delve into the art of historical performance. Players will learn new music and participate in an informal performance at 4:00pm on the day, which friends and family are all invited to attend. Refreshments will be provided at the performance by Christ Church for a donation. Read more about Simon Jones here.

Trip to see CBSO Family Concert: Music From the Movies - Sunday 24 November at 3:00pm

This trip is open to all members of our youth orchestras & bands (WYO, WYJO, WYCO, WYCB). £20 per student.

Join us for a trip to Symphony Hall, Birmingham to see the CBSO Family Concert: Music from the Movies. The cost of the trip includes return coach travel, concert ticket, Severn Arts staff supervision and a meet & greet with CBSO players.
