What's on Bridges of Light Shadow Dance by Impossible Arts Audio Guide Your browser does not support the audio element. Please click here to download the file Shadow Dance takes ‘dancing in the streets’ to a whole new level as audience members become performers with floodlights magnifying their multi-coloured silhouette to the size of a building. The effects get even the most reticent of dancers making interesting shapes. Shadows interact with each other, and life suddenly becomes a rainbow coloured trick of the light. The installation blends colour and light, using colourful floodlights to magnify shadow silhouettes as they appear on a large projection screen. Combining this effect with a trick of optics means that the white light itself is split into its different colour components (based on Newton’s Colour Theory).
