Student Networking Event | Worcester’s Creative Quarter The first of four Local Voices Creative Choices networking events happened on 4th March 2026, situated in the hub of Worcester’s Creative Quarter; the Arches and at the Hive library. With guest speakers Taylor-Bea Gordon from T-LABEL, Business entrepreneur Peter Daniels from RockSolid Consulting, and Anna Best and Katie Dexeter from The Artery gallery, students had the chance to explore concepts of networking and collaboration, working as freelance creatives, and exploring their creative identities. Designed for students from any creative disciplines, this event set a foundation for future events. Future events will build on these connections and ideas, bringing the themes to life and encouraging students to step into their identity as emerging creatives. This event is part of the Skills & Talent strand of the Local Voices Creative Choices programme, which aims to embed the Heart of Worcester College and University of Worcester in Worcester’s cultural and creative community, and encourage students to consider future careers in the city’s growing creative sector.
