Worcestershire Inclusive Choir

Celebrating that everyone has their own way of sharing their voice.

Who is the choir for?

The choir is open to everyone aged 25 years and under, and their families. It is free to join, there are no auditions, and you do not need to be able to read music notation.

Who runs the choir?

Severn Arts runs Worcestershire Inclusive Choir in partnership with Soundabout.

What happens in the choir?

The choir sings songs chosen by those taking part and occasionally writes their own songs. Every piece of music is designed so that everyone can be involved in their own way. Here are a few examples of ways you could join in:

Using Makaton Signing
Singing or other vocal noises
Making sounds with an instrument or sound maker
Using technology e.g. an iPad or EyeGaze
Movement and dance

Where does the choir meet?

Worcestershire Inclusive Choir meets face to face every few weeks at Warndon Community Centre, Shap Drive, Warndon, Worcester WR4 9NX. Worcestershire members can also take part in the West Midlands online sessions from 11am - 12pm. See meeting dates below.
